If
you have too many programs installed on your
computer.
If you have
too many programs running on your computer. Please try to
remove the ones that you don't use. The more programs you have
running on your computer the slower the computer. Refer to this

computer.

Insufficient available disk
space.
If you have
a hard disk drive that is 2GB or smaller, ensure that
there is at least 200MB of hard disk drive space free. If
you have a hard drive larger than this size, verify that
there is at least 500MB of free hard disk space. This
available space allows the computer to have room for the
swap file to
increase in size as well as room for temporary
file. Try to
free some space on your hard disk by deleting unnecessary
files including unused audio and video
files.

Hard
drive corrupted or
fragmented.
To solve
this program run Disk Defrag
utility. Click here to
learn how to do this. Disk defrag place all
data togerther instead of scattered throughout the hard
disk drive, allowing data to be read faster on the hard
disk drive.

Background
programs
Some
unauthorised programs start immediately your computer
boots. These programs sometimes creep in through your
internet browser or come with other installed
programs . Remove or

Hardware
conflicts
Verify that
the Device Manager has no conflicts, but if conflicts
are present, resolve
them.
Issues with
Windows XP prefetch
If you have
Windows XP try deleting all files in the prefetch
directory. These are prefetch files and can lower system
resources if loading programs no longer being
used.
