How to upgrade your computer memory.

Computer memory plays a significant role in the speed of the system. Upgrading your computer memory is one of the easiest things you can do, like i always say you don't need to pay anyone to do this for you.

What you need.

A screw driver. and  an electrostatic band as shown below.

Step 1

Put the wrist band on and hook it to any part of the computer, this helps to prevent any electrostatic shock. With your screw driver remove the left lid of your pc to expose the internal parts of the computer.

Step 2

Locate the memory cards using the diagrams below. Locate any available slots, you need free slots in order to upgrade otherwise you need to swap the existing memory card for one with a higher capacity.

Step 3.

To install the card check to make sure that the notch in the module's contact area aligns with the slot's "key", and press each module into the slot until a "click" is heard or felt from the latches. Apply a significant of pressure for the until a click sound is heard.
