Installing The CPU
Cooler
Most new CPUs have a thin film
of thermal paste on the top surface. If your CPU has no thermal
paste then you need to apply some. This helps heat
transfer to the heatsink/cooler. Spread the paste
evenly before placing the heatsink or cooler.
With the cooler in position, slip
the non-levered end over the corresponding plastic hook,
then repeat the process on the levered end. Finish the
installation by flipping the lever to apply
pressure. For a cooler as shown in the
diagram Installation requires pushing each pin into the
corresponding hole until a click sound is heard.
Connect cable of the cooler to the corresponding pins on
the motherboard as shown in FIG 11.

Installing the motherboard.
First insert the back plate which came with the
motherboard as shown in diagrams below. Be careful with the
orientation, each hole must have a corresponding port on
the board. Now prepare the seat of the motherboard (these are
special screws that form a kind of footing or seat for the
board). FIG 15. and FIG16. illustrates this. These special
screws normally comes with the case when purchased. Gently
place the board on the "foots" as shown in FIG. 17 and
FIG 18. and firmly screw it into position.
