How to buid a pc

Introduction

Assembling a computer cannot only be done by a computer professional, anybody can do if the necessary precautions and procedure is critically followed.

Tools Needed

(1).A medium sized star screw driver (2.) A pair of clean hands (3). A pair of clean gloves.(4) An electrostatic band.

Precautions.

(1).Be careful not to drop any part. (2).Do not scratch any surface ( 3).Do not touch processor surface and memory ends with bare hands (4.)Be careful of live cables (5.)Do not touch any compont inside the pc if it is connected to the main electrical source.

Needed Parts/Components.

(1).Computer case ( 2).A great motherboard (3).A good processor and heat sink (4.)CD/DVD Drive (5.) PSU (Power Source Unit) (6. ) Memory cards (7). Sata and IDE cables (8.) Hard drive.

Installing The CPU.

Check the processor and the processor socket on the board to find clues for the best fitting position. An arrow on one corner of the CPU must correspond with the arrow on one corner of the CPU socket.The diagram shows a pentium based processor. Depending on the motherboard you purchase you can either use a intel pentium processor or an AMD processor. Be very careful of the CPU pins because they are easily bent.Check and make sure the CPU is properly inserted before you lock it up.
